I’m Flaca!

This is my nickname and I am addressed by this more than my birth name Aurora. I established Flaca’s Salsa in 2011 at the Livermore Farmers Market where we still continue to be passionately active in. 

My journey began early on when my mom owned a Mexican Food Restaurant which played a big influence in my life. She taught many traditional ways of cooking which I am sharing with all of you.

I have always been encouraged by friends and family to bring my salsa to gatherings. Years of positive feedback I took a leap of faith and moved forward in sharing my salsa with all of you. As time passed I slowly incorporated other family favorites to the menu which to my surprise has been a success.

I continue to have a strong support system made of my loving family and amazing friends; they continue to be the stable foundation I stand on. It has however not gone unnoticed that without my “Salsa Lovers’ (Flaca’s followers) I wouldn’t still be on this journey. I am thrilled that you are here reading this bio because I have a feeling you are now a “Salsa Lover”, so thank you for joining us!
