The Best Quesadilla You'll Ever Have

Quesadillas are good on their own, but have you ever had one with picadillo in it?! Flaca’s picadillo consists of ground beef and potatoes, perfectly seasoned in a secret blend of taco seasoning and love. By adding picadillo to something as simple as your classic quesadilla, you’ll make your meal that much better.

INGREDIENTS

  • Flaca’s picadillo container

  • Flour tortillas

  • Shredded Mexican blend cheese or shredded cheese of your choice

  • Cooking spray

  • Optional: Flaca’s mild or hot salsa

  • Make it a meal: Add Flaca’s Spanish rice & beans as a side!

DIRECTIONS

  1. Transfer the picadillo to a microwave-safe bowl, cover with a wet paper towel, and microwave for 1.5-2.5 minutes until heated through.

  2. Bring a pan to the stove and allow to heat over medium heat.

  3. Fill one side of the tortilla with your desired amount of picadillo and shredded cheese, then fold it over to create a taco shape. Spray the pan with cooking spray, then carefully place the flat side down into the hot pan.

  4. Allow the quesadilla to fry on one side, until crispy brown edges form and cheese is oozing out, then use tongs to flip and fry the other side.

  5. Remove the quesadilla when it’s crispy on both sides and the cheese has completely melted; can lower the heat and add a lid to the top of the pan to help the cheese melt, if needed.

  6. Allow the quesadilla to cool, then cut into triangle pieces. Eat on its own, or top it with Flaca’s salsa for the ultimate meal. Enjoy!
